Hi everyone!

Happy 4th of July. Today I wrote a poem that I thought you might like to read, as it is about the 4th of July, fireworks, etc. Let me know what you think; also, should I write more stanzas to it?

Well, without further ado, here is my poem.

While on the green and crackling lawn we sit,
Writhing with anticipation and delight,
Suddenly, the cold, dark sky is lit
With bursts of color, then a stream of light.

I used a little poetic license, but hey, that’s allowed, right?
