Well, where was I? Hmmm, let me check…Oh yes. Payton and I snuggle down under the covers, giggling, laughing, and doing everything that 9-year-olds are prone to do when left in a bed in a room by themselves. But finally (aka at 11:00 pm) we go to sleep. When we wake up, we pinpoint IMMEDIATELY the sound that took us away from our sound slumber: Susanna and Bradleigh running up and down the hall, screaming. Our door was left open in the night, so the sounds of screaming woke us up. Peaceful, huh? :-D We get out of bed to get dressed, and run upstairs to eat our breakfast of Lucky Charms. These are a special treat for us, only eaten at the beach.  Then we get ready. Get ready for the beach, I mean. We slather on sunscreen, put our  bathing suits on, pack our tote bags up, and all the other stuff we need to do before heading out,and beg the adults to do the same.  We all head out to the beach. The adults set up the chairs while the kids play in the ocean. Finally it is time to go back to the house for lunch. We repeat the morning’s activities after we have finished our meal, then we go out again. This happens pretty much every day, except for two days. On the first day, we go shopping. Well, at least the girls do. That includes my mom and and aunt, and Lucy does not come with us; she is napping.  We browse all the stores, looking for great souvenirs. The second day,we all go to an amusement park. When you are driving up to it, the first thing you see is the Viking Ship, the ride that I absolutely refuse to go on. I went on it once, and I felt like I was gonna get dumped! Maggie and my dad loved it, though. I like the Bumper Cars the best. Some times me and Payton go together; normally, my dad takes us around, and we meet everyone else sooner or later. It is sorta small for an amusement park.  Around dinnertime,we eat out at a pizza place (not the exact same one, but it has the same name.)  After that we sometimes go get a dessert, then we go back home. Also, Lucy’s-and Paige’s, my little cousin’s, birthdays fall on our vacation, so we will have some fun on their birthdays.  When a week has passed we go home. Our family stops for lunch where my mom used to work, then we continue home, where my friend Dina meets us. That’s my vacation!
