About Me

Here’s the hard-and-fast “about me”:

My name is Molly.  I’m twelve years old, and I have three sisters and two dogs.  (The hermit crabs that reside in a tank in the dining room do not technically belong to me.  Well, neither do the dogs…)  I’m in seventh grade, and I go to a private school near my house.  I’m a redhead, and I play softball.

But, you see, that’s pretty blah.  So here’s my “about me” that is (hopefully) a little more original, and maybe a little more about my world than about me.

I’m a girly tomboy.  I have a whole notebook dedicated to my short stories, and several unfinished novels reside in my desk. I love to go to the mall and to the movies with friends, which makes me seem pretty normal…but really, I’m not.  Ask any of the aforesaid friends.  I’m the girl who wears overalls, a bandanna, and rainbow knee socks in the summer.  I usually don’t hide in the shadows (which sometimes doesn’t work out so great for me).  I’m outspoken, and loud, but I’m quiet.  I play piano, and I’ve been known to “hibernate” in my room with a good book for weeks at a time.  I’m contradictory, but that’s me.
