My Pets

I’ve moved this, as well as “My Family”, to under “About Me”. I’m creating a new page look at the top of the screen.

After Ginger’s death, we got two new dogs from the SPCA. On October 11, we adopted Sammy, who is a reddish/brown and white Jack Russell terrier, age 6. Unlike most of that breed, his ears stick straight up. About a week or so later (yes, I do actually realize it was ten days later), we adopted Juicy on October 21. Juicy is an English bulldog, also reddish/brown and white, who is 2 years old and a girl! By the way, they came with the names, although we do often call Sammy “Kitty”, because when he growls it sounds like he is purring. Here’s a picture of the two dogs, with Sammy on the left.

Susanna, Lena, and I used to each own one hermit crab. Lena’s is Mary Beth, Susanna’s is Gloria, and mine was Shelly. Sadly, Mary Beth and Gloria developed a taste for cannibalism and so Shelly is now resting not so peacefully somewhere in their bodies. Mary Beth and Gloria have been growing pretty fast, and we need to buy them some more shells.
